The San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles is a non-profit organization in downtown San Jose. The mission of the Museum is to promote the art, craft, creators and history of quilts and textile art. While the Museum’s own exhibits and programs take precedence, it may be possible that events such as meeting retreats, receptions, lectures, or parties can be coordinated to match our facilities. There is an event space separate from the galleries that is available for rentals. Viewing current exhibits is included for your group except during weeks when the exhibits are being changed. Galleries: There are three galleries that can accommodate up to 200 people. However, the use of the galleries is limited by the nature of our exhibits. Some groups have rented chairs and used the largest of the three galleries for lectures or ceremonies. However, since each of our exhibits is different, a visit is necessary to see what space is available during a particular exhibit.
